My wife and I went with friends for a long weekend (4 nights). Getting to the island is a bit difficult, but once you get there, it is really beautiful. There are few cars- people mostly travel around on golf carts... which I recommend renting. The resort is situated on a perfect part of the Pink Beach. As beaches go... this is one of the most comfortable and beautiful. The sand is luxurious. We stayed in a two bedroom beachfront room. It was nicely decorated and comfortable. It is just about on the beach down a short path. The view from the room is lovely. We were surprised that the cleaning staff never replaced the shampoo, etc. We did get ice on one day, but had to get it on our own the other days. The patio towels were never replaced, but the room was kept very clean. There are two restaurants... one for breakfast and lunch, the other for dinner. First, be aware that the cost of food at the resort is very high. Breakfast was easily $ per person for eggs, muffin, coffee (and the tip they add automatically). Dinner was almost $ p/p with wine. We asked for three different wines on the list that they did not have. The front desk personnel were friendly but not of the high end customer service we would expect in a place like this. If you go, keep in mind the resort is big and so you have to walk a lot... but it's worth it given its beauty. There are roosters everywhere... very entertaining. Anyway, I would say I liked this place but did not love it. Given the cost, I can't see going back. But if you want to be alone and secluded, go to this resort!
